Inactivity Timer made easy using Desktop Authority Express to Manage Inactive Computers
The Desktop Authority Express Inactivity feature allows automatic Logoff, Shutdown, Restart, or Locking of a computer based on a period of inactivity that occurs within a specified period of time. Inactivity detection time is set in half-hour increments. Desktop Authority Express Inactivity settings are particularly useful in situations when there is the need to logoff users at the end of the day so appropriate updates are applied to all machines at logoff or the next logon.

Another situation where Desktop Authority Express Inactivity settings are very useful is to lock a computer during working hours if the computer is idle for a certain period of time. This will prevent the use of an idle computer by an unrestricted user. Multiple Desktop Authority Express Inactivity configurations can be created. This is especially helpful in situations where there are multiple shifts to account for working and non-working hours.
