Desktop Authority® Patch Distribution and Deployment Option (PDD)

Desktop Authority Patch Distribution and Deployment Option (PDD) gives organizations the ability to download, distribute, and deploy patches from a single management console. Integrated with the Desktop Authority platform, administrators can now manage their desktops and patch deployment from one easy to use interface.

This solution gives administrators a way to securely distribute and deploy patches by:

  • Simplifying the task of installing Microsoft Operating System and application patches onto desktops across the enterprise, and eliminate attacks that exploit unpatched systems
  • Downloading and deploying Third Party patches on all desktops from a single location (i.e. Adobe, FireFox, WinZip, and more)
  • Reporting on where patches are missing and installed based on severity
  • Protecting  desktops vulnerability and deciding which users should receive which patches at what time


This solution eases the task of downloading patches, distributing them to deployment servers, selecting appropriate patches, selecting clients and deploying patches, and wraps them all up into the easy-to-use console.
