Remote Client Management
Clients are accessed using a standard java-enabled browser utilizing a number of security features including 128-bit SSL session encryption, local authentication, IP Filtered access to the RMG console and if you integrate RMG with Desktop Authority, granular access control and client-based IP filtering.
RMG’s client is not simply a remote control client, but a remote management client. Notice Remote Control is only one of nearly 40 tasks including the management of the file system, registry, users/groups, processes, services, performance monitoring and more. These tasks allow support professionals to manage the client without needing to be interactive with the user (which lowers user productivity). If a resolution cannot be found, working interactively with the user can be accomplished using the Remote Control task.
