Custom Script: C1016
Overview:
This custom script will convert clients with static
TCP/IP addresses to DHCP, clears out the WINS and DNS addresses and enables the
Use WINS for DNS Resolution. After performing the conversion the client is then
rebooted so the changes can take effect.
This example will only convert 9x & NT4 clients that are LAN -attached and are not NT
Servers/DCs. By using Validation Logic on this Custom Script you could apply it
to a specific network segment, etc.
Note, this script is not compatible with
Windows 2000/XP.
